it's all around
Life tells the biggest lies of all, And draws wages from itself Twisting Illusions crack start
23 Sep 1991 SACian before Thespian now however long it seemed
Counting every star With hands grasp tightly Wishing the fire would never burn out I called, I screamed, I yelled Not once did you turn Now with my faded voice I longed for illusions Even if it's a lie, Tell me what i want to hear Lies OUT

Saturday, 7 February 2009 Good evening. Today is my daddy's birthday. Therefore, first and fore most, Happy Birthday Daddy! Let's do a little flashback before talking about today's event =).Yesterday I went out to meet Jack to celebrate his birthday in advance. Nothing special, just went to watch a movie called "Bride Wars" before eating at Moss Burger. After which, Juliet and Chui Ting came. We headed to Kinokuniya where I bought my two books, "My best friend's girl" and "A small part of history". We made our way down to TCT for Chingay appreciation dinner. We had our dinner and attended a short programme. It's short probably due to the fact that I enjoyed myself without realising that time passed. In a blink of an eye, it was all over. During the programme, we yelled and gave cat-calls which resulted in many of us developing sore throat. Worth while though. I got all the magicians and levitators to sing a "Happy Birthday" song on the stage for Jack as s surprise gift from me. Hey, at the very least he got shocked. Haha! Success! I took loads of photos! Haha! It's so good to be able to see all of them once again. I missed all of them! Chingay is over, how saddening. Today I woke up in the morning. It's so dreadful that I need to get up in the morning. Can't I sleep in? T_T Oh wells. My uncle was giving us a treat. My mom called Juliet along. She, too, was sleeping when my mom phoned to wake her up. Haha. After the meal, we got home and play mah jiong. Man, it's been such long time since I last played mah jiong. Almost forgot how to play. Haha. I won 2 rounds and lost the next 3 rounds, yet ironically, I earned money. LOL. When Juliet left for work, we played a while longer before we decided to have a break and continue only when my dad comes home. I remember one of the games that I was playing with my dad, mom and elder sister. Instead of saying "game", I said "die!" LOL! All of them looked at me with a dumbfounded and what-the-hell sort of look. It happened so randomly and suddenly. The atmosphere was extremely funny. There was a 3 seconds pause before all of us broke out into laughter. When I mention "all", I really mean ALL. Including me. I won a few games and lost a few games. Like before, I earned the same amount of profit. Thankfully, my aunt called to inform us that she's downstairs waiting. If not, I would have fallen asleep. Man, after playing for long, the game gets really boring. It's amazing how gamblers can play mah jiong for the whole entire day. I won't even last for 2 hours. Just now, when I was bathing, I had an unwanted visitor. No! Trespasser to be exact! Cockroach! It's HUGE! Thank god, I've finished bathing and was putting on my clothes. From the toilet, I yelled for my dad informing him about the trespasser! In less than a minute, he came in with an insecticide on hand, ready to kill the cockroach. Ha! Serve the bug right! Disturb my shower! It's also partially because my mom was making a big fuss about it. She was more afraid of cockraoches than I was. Haha! However, now that the bug is already dead (because I don't think that my mom would allow it to leave the toilet alive) , I shall pray for it's safe journey. May god's blessing be with you, bug. Oh wells, it's really late now and I'm starting to get sleepy! Pleasant nightmares! |
