it's all around
Life tells the biggest lies of all, And draws wages from itself Twisting Illusions crack start
23 Sep 1991 SACian before Thespian now however long it seemed
Counting every star With hands grasp tightly Wishing the fire would never burn out I called, I screamed, I yelled Not once did you turn Now with my faded voice I longed for illusions Even if it's a lie, Tell me what i want to hear Lies OUT

Monday, 25 May 2009 Hello! A day like any other! Haha. I'll skip the usual mundane schedule of the day all the way till in the evening at home. (Apologies Rachie Darling! I forgot to update the other time you msg me on MSN! >_<)I didn't intend to surf the net, at least not before I've finish reading my downloaded manga. Sitting in an uncomfortable, I decided to adjust. (That's a normal reaction right?) Lifting my leg too high, I hit onto the my table and my computer SHUT OFF! "G-O-S-H! What the hell did I do?!" was what I thought. Just then, all electrical appliances stopped too! "OH right~ It's J-U-S-T a blackout. No big deal." Ha! At the same time, my mom stepped into the house. Something unpleasant must have happened while she's out for her to be fumming at every tiny issue. That's the same way she reacted when my sis talked to her when the blackout happened. Sis: Mummy, what did you do? Mom: WHAT DO YOU MEAN I DO HUH?! ACCUSE ME FOR WHAT? (something like that, I can't really remember) She walked back into the room while I came out looking at my handphone. Mom: INSTEAD OF ACCUSING ME, GO AND TAKE THE CHAIR TO SWITCH THE LIGHTS BACK ON!! I strolled to the store-room... Me: Arghhh, what time is it? 19.40...What's 19.40? =.=" 7...7... 7.40? Where's the chair? I can't see anything here, it's too dark. I went to the powerbox to switch the lights back on and my mom walked up to me. Mom: Which switch did you flip? Pointing to her the two switch simultaneously, I said: The second and the last switch. Mom: Huh? Which switches? Me (pointing at the same time): The s.e.c.o.n.d and the l.a.s.t switch. She REPEATED her question and I repeated my response 4 times! GOSH! Can she not understand "second" and "last"? When I got down the from the stool, she stared at me. Mom (bellowing away): CAN'T YOU POINT AND TELL ME PROPERLY? LIKE THAT YOU ONLY NEED TO HAVE DONE IT ONCE! Me (totally cool): I did. You mean, you don't understand the word "second" and "last"? I was telling myself "Sam! TOLERATE. TOLERATE. Totally cool! Everything's good!" OMG! Thank god it worked! When I sat back on my chair in the room, my sis came in. Sis: I heard that very loud and clear. "Second" and "Last". What? She don't understand?! Me: How I know her?! I don't know what's so difficult to understand, just two words, "second" and "last". =_=" Later, my mom just carried on her yelling on some god-forsaken matters outside in the kitchen. Man, I can't keep up with her. I have no intention to loose my composure on matters as minor as that. Haha. Oh, by the way, Ginko (not sure of spelling) porridge with red deads (also not sure of spelling), tastes HORRIBLE! I got THAT for breakfast and dinner! Yike! That's my evening. Entertaining, was't it? Right, she's calling me so many times now. Me: Yes? You call me for? Mom: No.1 Help me on the TV, channel 255. My show is starting. *HUH?! She's got a LIST for me?!* Me: Which TV you want? The one in your room or in the living room? Mom: My room. No, living room. It's been such long time since I last on the television that I DON'T EVEN KNOW how to switch it on! After fiddling with the TV for about 5 mins, it's finally on but the screen's not showing! Gosh! Can't remember which lucky button I pressed that switch to the SCV cable channel. But guess what! My parents changed the cable box recently and now it has to wait for AT LEAST 30 mins to varify the card. What-the-hell! The whole conversation was now in Cantonese. Me: Mom, it'll take 30mins for the box to varify the card. Mom: Oh, orh. Second, you didn't eat rice ar? (dinner was what she was referring to). Me: Huh? I did. You scooped a bowl of ginko porridge for me. Mom: Then why are there ingredients left on the table? For who to eat? Why didn't you finish it? Me: Mom, I ate dinner even before jie did. How would I know that she didn't finish it? Mom: Then who do you want to leave the ingredients for? Go and finish it. Me: No, I don't want. I've already brushed my teeth. *walks off* Mom: Why didn't you help me on the TV?! Me: I told you that the box need to take 30 mins to varify the card. Mom: WHAT?! 30 MINS?! Cannot! My show is starting soon! Go and switch on the TV in my room! I took 5 mins figuring how to on her TV. My parents seemed to have a unique method of switching off the TV. After which, I'm back here! I hope she leaves me alone now. Haha. Alright, I'll go back to reading my manga! Update another time. |
